The goti de fornasa (furnace glasses) were created in the furnaces to meet the master glassmakers’ and their assistants’ need to drink. They were made from glass paste without paying much much attention to their shape. Nowadays these have become an object of fashion as well as an item of everyday use. They come in a wide variety of colours, shapes and sizes.
